Solutions

There are two basic solutions available on the market today:

Location based

These solutions protect an entire location (usually a home) and control the flow of information into and out of the home. In a majority of cases the device is a router and plugs into the Internet service provider’s modem.

Device based

These solutions protect a single device no matter where the device accesses the Internet. Most of the time these solutions are software installed on the device but occasionally can take the form of hardware.
